This week sees Henley Royal Regatta
To hold the event they need to squeeze the 2 racing lanes, 24m wide, totalling 2112m in length into the Thames at an angle.
In comparison we have 3500m from Antons Gowt to Langrick dead straight. The pictures below speak for themselves (after the 1k and 2 k straights from the club)
