At Boston Rowing Club we provide the opportunity to take part in a 6 week fully-coached Learn to Row course.  We host 2 or 3 of these courses per year depending on interest, for both Adults and Juniors (under 18).

The aim of the course is to provide you with the information and instruction needed to get you safely out on the water and starting to enjoying rowing and possibly even racing. As one of the oldest clubs in the country we are very passionate about our sport and feel we have all of the experience and equipment required to help you achieve your goals. We offer recreational, club and competitive rowing for all ages.

During the course we aim to teach you the terminology required to be able to row and scull successfully, as well as the technique and instructions required to be safe around the boathouse and on the river. After you finish your Learn 2 Row course you will in most cases be offered the opportunity to join Boston Rowing Club as a Junior, Adult, or Recreational Adult member. Please see our membership page for more details.
