Robert has been a member since 2004, and in that time has represented his club many times in all types of competition. He has held multiple records for the Boston Marathon and has recently taken the path to qualify as a British Rowing Umpire.

Nigel has been a keen competitor and volunteer at BRC since 2014. In that time he has been involved in ensuring the safety of our all of our members and visitors alike. His work on club and event safety has earned him praise from high levels within sport.

Jacques joined BRC as a junior rower in 2011. He quickly progressed to compete at a high level, winning many events and trophies along the way. Although still competing himself, he is now the club's lead coach, and works with Junior and Adult members to develop their skills and help them achieve their personal goals, as well as running our Learn 2 Row program.

Lucy Walker
Junior Captain

Steve became a coach at BRC in 2015, and has worked with both the Junior and Adult squads in competitive racing and recreational areas alike. Steve is currently focused on the supporting the Junior Learn 2 Row program and coaches beginners through to competent rowers as well as supporting the existing Adult membership with 1 to 1 coaching thereafter. He is a keen rower/sculler and is out on the water most weeks.

Anita began rowing at BRC in 2014, and quickly became a regular member of our adult squad. She has taken part in many recreational distance rowing tours since then, as well as competing in time trial and regatta formats. Her enthusiastic approach to rowing has resulted in her becoming our Ladies Captain.

Lucy's positive attitude and hard work around the club earned her title of junior captain continuously working hard in her own training as well as encouraging her teammates She is a popular member of the team. Lucy has competed in a number of events from local regattas to larger events like NJIRC having success in many of those Lucy is continuing to develop her rowing skills with high hopes of competing in the top level.

Phil has been coaching since 2015 and spent his first 3 years as a coach being mainly focused on our very successful Junior squad, supporting them in competitive rowing across the country. Phil is also a qualified British Rowing Umpire, as well as the lead in organising BRC's annual Marathon and Head Race's, giving a great deal of his spare time to continually improving the club. He is a keen rower/sculler and competes for BRC as often as he can.

Graham has been a member, director and previous chairman of BRC over several decades, and has many achievements to his name, both as a rower/sculler and as a coach. Graham has a vast knowledge of rowing and has coached all at levels. In 2017 he received a Medal of Merit from the national governing body of UK rowing for his exceptional contribution to regional and club rowing.
